Sugar Free Marzipan Truffles

MARZIPAN!!! This is probably one of my favourite things ever in this world! Though I have come to find it is quite marmite, with you either loving it or hating it!

When you think marzipan though, surely you think christmas, sweet and soft treats that melt in your mouth! I really wanted to create something that was high protein, and low sugar that will be perfect around this time after you've got the taste for all things sugary from your no doubt debaucherous Christmas!

Well this ticks all those boxes and tastes just amazing!! Literally I would pack these in an ickle tuppaware and take out somewhere with me, incase I needed or wanted a snack!!

Ok ok enough of me bigging up how amazing these are let's grab the



  • 100g Ground Almonds
  • 70g Truvia
  • 1 egg white
  • 30g pea protein
  • 35-40g 85% Dark chocolate

*if you want to give it a kick add a bit of amaretto*


BLEND Truvia till it has a consistency similar to icing sugar, we want it really fine!


COMBINE all your ingredients – except the chocolate and rum – in a blender



ADD rum if you want it do this little by little as you don’t want a wet mixture

ROLL mixture into ball shapes


MELT Chocolate

COAT and leave to dry

DONE and look at these amazing macros!

Macros for them are as follows:

1082 kcals
29.5g carbs
76.8g protein
72.8g fat

Per truffle (When made into 12):
90.1 Kcals
2.4g carbs
6.4g protein
6.0g fat


KOOWIE!!!!!!!! EPIC macros! Easy to fit into your daily life and high in protein and great fats! Enjoy this one guys! I already as I may of eaten nearly the whole batch!
