With January being the coldest month of the year, Christmas having been and gone it’s very much a time for a selection of food that warms the cockles of your heart! Hare is in season, along with venison which brings a true richness and depth of flavour the the month, and both of which are accompanied by the hardiest of vegetables that are still out growing such as – kale, leeks and swede – so expect some tasty stews and casseroles coming your way this month!!
